Employment Equity Projects
Conducting Self-Identification Surveys
We provide advice on how to conduct a Self-ID survey that yields extremely high response rates. We offer detailed advice at every stage with prescribed questionnaire in both official languages.
Preparation of Workforce Analysis
After tabulating the survey results, we compare them with the labour force from which the employees are drawn. This highlights any gap in the representation rate for the four designated groups (women, visible minorities, Aboriginal people and persons with disabilities.)
Employment Systems Reviews
With the road map obtained from the Workforce Analysis, we conduct an Employment Systems Review (ESR) to pinpoint the barriers that prevent the organization from being fully representative of the designated groups.
Employment Equity Planning
As required by law, we prepare an Employment Equity Planning document for the short and long-term in consultation with your Human Resources Department.
Diversity
We have conducted numerous studies showing the importance of diversity management and outlined problems that could occur if diversity management is ignored.
A report was prepared for Citizenship and Immigration on major stages in the evolution of racism in Canada and the required activities for fighting racism.
We conducted focus groups and workshops in eight Canadian cities to develop and Engagement Strategy for a Racism-Free Workplace for HRSDC.
Interactive workshops were held for International Personal Management Association (IPMA) on diversity.
Program Evaluation
We undertake evaluation projects to assess the effectiveness of programs and provide recommendations on what modifications are required to make the program fully effective. We have evaluated programs for government departments such as HRDC and Health Canada.
We evaluated UN programs in Tunisia, Indonesia and Thailand and immigrant integration in Canada for ILO, Geneva..
Witness before Human Rights Tribunals
